Mining Update
On November 10, 2020, the Lawrence County Commissioners denied Valentine Mining Company’s CUP Permit to mine above the rim near Savoy.
Expert Mining Report
The Spearfish Canyon Owners Association hired an expert to research the potential impact of proposed mining above the canyon rim near Savoy. A copy of this report is posted below for your review. The Board is following this issue and will keep members updated.
